Martyred Intellectuals’ Day 2025
BAF Shaheen English Medium College (SEMC) observed Martyred Intellectuals’ Day with due respect and profound solemnity, commemorating the nation’s finest intellectuals who were brutally martyred on 14 December 1971. The day served as a reminder of their invaluable contributions and ultimate sacrifice for the independence and future of Bangladesh.
The observance began with a brief but dignified program where teachers and students paid homage to the martyred intellectuals. Special discussions highlighted the significance of the day and reflected on the role of intellectuals in nation-building. Participants observed a moment of silence and offered prayers for the departed souls.
Through this observance, BAF SEMC reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the ideals of the martyred intellectuals and inspiring students to pursue knowledge, truth, and patriotism in their academic and personal lives.
