Educational tour at Jahangirnagar University
On the 7th January, 2026, students from Environmental Management of BAF SEMC, embarked on an educational tour at Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka. The purpose of the tour was to gain a deep understanding and knowledge on the topic Rocks and Minerals as a part of the newly introduced Cambridge O-Level subject- Environmental Management at SEMC.
The students were taken to the 'Rock Museum' where they learnt about various rocks collected from around the world. The Professors from the Department of Geological Sciences delivered their presentation on minerals, the formation of rocks and the different landforms which motivated the students to gain more knowledge on this subject.
